She played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light as well as in Guiding Light, a character which won her the award in 2003 for the Soap Op Digest nomination as Outstanding Newcomer. From 2007 to 2008 Dollar played Cindy Thomas on the ABC television series Women's Murder Club. Dollar was the lead character in Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC Pilot, which didn't get picked up.
